Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen

Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen

Unwandelbaren Lichts, seinem wahresten Sein

Gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen

Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen

In Kindern verkörpert

gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen

Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen
Jedes Kind, mein Kind, ist gewickelt in wippende Rhythmen

Cherish This Time

So your baby is here!
What joy and what pleasure!
Now your life is expanding,
To make room for this treasure.

A darling newcomer
To have and to hold--
Her (His) smiles are more precious
Than silver or gold.

She'll (He'll) demolish your schedule
Though she's helpless and small;
She'll make her needs known,
And she'll rule over all.

See, a new parent's work
Is just never quite done,
But you'll never mind,
‘Cause it's all so much fun.

When you hear her cute giggle
You'll start "aahing" and "oohing,"
And she'll soon reply back
By "ga ga" and "goo gooing."

Those big innocent eyes
See a world strange and new;
To make sense of it all
She'll look only to you.

So cherish this time
Of miraculous things--
The excitement and wonder
That a new baby brings.

Since your little miracle came.

There's lots of things to do now,
But with the new tasks you face,
Your family gains more love,
And bonds time will never erase.

Babies are amusing by nature, so here's a funny baby poem that would be perfect next to a scrapbook baby photo. It's a newborn baby message to make them smile.

The Joy of Raising a Baby

We're glad you joined our family,
Yet some things make us wonder;
How can a little package like you
Have a voice that's loud as thunder?

You are so small and oh so cute,
But you are never very shy,
For whenever you want something brought to you,
You just open your mouth and cry.

First you moved on hands and knees,
Then you were up on your feet.
We're chasing you all around the house;
We're tired; we need a retreat!

Your food is smeared over the table;
Your food is on the floor;
Seems the only place food didn't go,
Is in the baby we adore.

Diapers here and diapers there,
Stinky... smelly... Whew!
Diapers would have done us in,
If we didn't love you as we do.

We're glad you joined our family,
You're a unique and wonderful treasure.
So, despite the work of raising you,
Being your parents is a total pleasure!

By Karl and Joanna Fuchs

Watch Out For Girls!

A baby girl knows from the very beginning
How to play life's game and come out winning.
Her pink-cheeked face, her adorable curls
Will reel you right in; that's the way of girls.

She'll flutter those lashes in a wide-eyed stare;
It's all calculated to make you care.
And those baby girl noises, the sigh and the coo...
She'll play baby poker, and the jackpot is you!

But whatever happens, she's always a pleasure,
So spend lots of time with your little treasure.

Collect Sweet Memories

I/We hear you have a new addition,
A sweet little gal who is quite a magician,
Transforming each normal adult who sees her
To a comical fool just trying to please her.

She'll wrap you around her little finger,
As around her crib you often linger,
Searching for what can make your hearts twirl--
The adorable smile of your baby girl.

Cherish each moment while she's still small.
Collect sweet memories for later recall.
For when she's grown up and on her own,
You'll wonder where the time has flown.

than any amount of money can buy.
Sweet, soft,
feminine baby fragrance...
inhaled happiness.
Growing, changing,

your baby girl is all that,
and so much more.

A Prayer for a Newborn Baby

There are a lot of searches for prayer for a new baby or new baby prayer. Baby poems can include a prayer for a newborn baby, a baby prayer poem, like this one, which prays for the Lord's love and guidance. This is a Christian prayer for a newborn baby. Of course, you'll change "he" and "him" to "she" and "her" if the baby is a girl.

Make Him Your Own

Lord, please care for this little one,
Whose precious life has just begun.
Wrap him in your boundless love;
Send him blessings from above.

Bathed in mom and dad's affection,
He also needs divine direction;
Guide him in Your righteous ways,
To honor You with reverent praise.

He's safe for now in his parents' arms,
But protect him always from evil's harms.
Give him strength for every hassle;
Let Your Word be his mind's castle.

Set his path so clear and straight,
A Christian's ways he'll demonstrate.
Let joy and kindness light his face;
May his goodness make Your case.

All this we ask, Lord; this we pray:
That You'll make this boy your own today.

You’re my baby, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do,
To keep you happy, when I’m with you…
If you’re crying, I’ll wipe away your tears,
If you’re scared, I’ll help you face your fears…
If you’re sick, I’ll take care of you,
Cause for you, there’s nothing I won’t do…
If you’re tired, I’ll lie beside you,
Watching you fall asleep, until I fall asleep too…
If you’re confused, you can always ask me,
I’ll answer you’re questions, even if you don’t agree…
If you miss me, remember I’ll see you before long,
But until we’re together, you’ll have to stay strong…
You’re my baby, and I’ll always love you,
No matter what happens, you know that I do…
You’re my baby, and I’ll be yours forever,
I’ll always be there for you, whenever, wherever…

I See You in the Field of My Mind Baby Moo Cow

The way the universe sat waiting to become,

quietly, in the nether of space and time,

you too remain some cellular snuggle

dangling between my legs, curled in the warm

swim of my mostly quietest self. If you come to be—

And who knows?—I wonder, little bubble

of unbudded capillaries, little one ever aswirl

in my vascular galaxies, what would you think

of this world which turns itself steadily

into an oblivion that hurts, and hurts bad?

Would you curse me my careless caressing you

into this world or would you rise up

and, mustering all your strength into that tiny throat

which one day, no doubt, would grow big and strong,

scream and scream and scream until you break the back of one injustice,

or at least get to your knees to kiss back to life

some roadkill? I have so many questions for you,

for you are closer to me than anyone

has ever been, tumbling, as you are, this second,

through my heart’s every chamber, your teeny mouth

singing along with the half-broke workhorse’s steady boom and gasp.

And since we’re talking today I should tell you,

though I know you sneak a peek sometimes

through your father’s eyes, it’s a glorious day,

and there are millions of leaves collecting against the curbs,

and they’re the most delicate shade of gold

we’ve ever seen and must favor the transparent

wings of the angels you’re swimming with, little angel.

And as to your mother—well, I don’t know—

but my guess is that lilac bursts from her throat

and she is both honeybee and wasp and some kind of moan to boot

and probably she dances in the morning—

but who knows? You’ll swim beneath that bridge if it comes.

For now let me tell you about the bush called honeysuckle

that the sad call a weed, and how you could push your little

sun-licked face into the throngs and breathe and breathe.

Sweetness would be your name, and you would wonder why

four of your teeth are so sharp, and the tiny mountain range

of your knuckles so hard. And you would throw back your head

and open your mouth at the cows lowing their human songs

in the field, and the pigs swimming in shit and clover,

and everything on this earth, little dreamer, little dreamer

of the new world, holy, every rain drop and sand grain and blade

of grass worthy of gasp and joy and love, tiny shaman,

tiny blood thrust, tiny trillion cells trilling and trilling,

little dreamer, little hard hat, little heartbeat,

little best of me.
